For each PDF document type, you can decide in the application settings of PDF-Mapper whether you want to import the PDFs from a local directory or have them fetched directly from a configured e-mail inbox.
If you want to use the local directory, the PDF documents will be recognized and processed when you copy PDF files to this directory.
If you want to use the configured email inbox, tell your customers or suppliers to send the PDF documents as email attachments to this inbox address in the future. Alternatively, you can also move the matching emails to the mailbox internally.
