PDF-Mapper is an alternative to OCR/AI solutions (Optical Character Recognition / Artificial Intelligence). OCR/AI solutions can nevertheless serve as an upstream step if paper documents or scanned PDFs need to be converted into digitally readable PDF documents.
OCR and AI-based solutions are typically used to convert paper documents into PDF documents and then pass the data to the ERP system. However, the solutions usually only work for simple data extractions, with a maximum of 95% accuracy, and therefore need to be manually verified.
PDF-Mapper works similarly to EDI with 100% accuracy in data processing, works fully automatically, and also for complicated data extractions.
